Dental Insurance Coordinator Position Available

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused professional to join our team as an Insurance Coordinator. This role involves verifying, updating, and coordinating insurance information to ensure seamless patient care and accurate billing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify insurance details for new patients and referrals.
- Update insurance information for existing patients.
- Contact insurance providers to obtain pre-authorizations for recommended services and procedures.
- Communicate denials promptly to clinical staff.
- Assist patients with billing and insurance-related questions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Professional and pleasant communication with excellent listening skills and patience.
- Ability to manage constant patient interaction and handle workflow efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, staff, and management.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multi-task.
- Quick, accurate response to inquiries while consistently meeting/exceeding department standards.
- Basic computer skills (Windows, keyboarding, data entry).
- Prior experience in dental insurance verification or related role is preferred.
