Key Role: Data Analyst

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality data analysis and insights to support business decision-making. This will involve collecting, organizing, storing and analyzing large datasets in Excel, as well as collaborating with other teams to enhance our culture of innovation and reinforce our reputation as a preferred service provider.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with data capture, organization, storage and analysis for creating and maintaining cost indices and escalation
  • Upkeeping construction project cost database, including data capture, cleaning, organization, storage and analysis
  • Managing large amounts of data in Excel and SharePoint
  • Collaborating with cost estimators/quantity surveyors to fill in holes in data
  • Contributing to the process for collection, capture and utilization of historic data
  • Performing other duties as required by senior leadership

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree + 2 years relevant experience
  • Firm decision-making abilities, excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Must have experience in data analysis and data management
  • Must understand IT technology including MS Windows, MS Office Suites
  • Experience with Microsoft suite particularly managing data in Excel and SharePoint preferred
  • SQL, Python, R, PowerBI, and Tableau skills beneficial
  • Attention to details
  • Experience managing and analysing large data sets will be beneficial
  • Interest or experience in construction industry or how things go together
  • Motivated to work independently and ability to work as part of a team
  • Dedication to current/continued pursuit of registrations
  • Excellent English communication skills
