Brief Description about the role:

You'll be part of our dynamic ADAS team, supporting the development of cutting-edge automated driving systems for global deployment.

By 2030, we aim to achieve full autonomous driving, referred to as an L4+ autonomous driving system.

To make this vision a reality, we're working on specific software functionalities to develop in-house software modules, maximising reusability and robustness in the autonomous driving landscape.

Key Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Undertake a variety of tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team to mentor junior SW engineers and clearly communicate findings through presentations and reporting
  • Understand requirements and come up with high-level designs, decomposing them into detailed designs
  • Mentor junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices, and DevOps trade-offs
  • Create software detailed designs and support their implementation in software and API interfaces required from internal teams
  • Develop complex software to satisfy design objectives
  • Critically understand API design for extensibility and portability of software across multiple implementations
  • Liaise with wider global teams within our organisation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience with at least 3+ years in application design and development
  • Experience working on complex automotive projects, owning responsibility for low-level design, implementation, and validation
  • Familiarity with AUTOSAR and Agile software development processes
  • Hands-on experience in programming languages like C/C++
  • Strong understanding of software design and architectural patterns
  • Knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR based Communication and Diagnostic stack
  • Experience in Automotive SW middleware platforms
