Software Quality Specialist

This role involves working as a software quality specialist, responsible for ensuring the quality of software applications through manual and automation testing.
The software quality specialist will be involved in developing and executing test cases to ensure software applications meet requirements. They will also create and maintain test documentation and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing test cases to ensure software applications meet requirements
- Creating and maintaining test documentation and procedures
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and project management
- Identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues
Preferred qualifications include experience with Selenium, Java, Big Query, SQL, and Gherkin. Familiarity with ServiceNow and CI/CD pipeline deployments is beneficial.
Responsibilities will involve investigating new development projects, collaborating with Product Owners and Technical Project Managers to create go-forward plans. This will require creating a centralized repository for Risk Management and establishing a fully fleshed out QA process, procedures, and test approach.
Additionally, the software quality specialist will focus on Selenium and Java-based automation testing, writing acceptance criteria, and driving dev teams to meet those standards.
