Job Role:

  • This position involves the analysis and optimization of Analog Mixed Signal macros, including analog-digital interface timing models extraction and correlation with Hspice simulations for accuracy verification.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in library characterization for AMS macros, a solid understanding of timing fundamentals, and experience with NanoTime and Hspice/Spectre simulators.
  • Automation skills using Shell/Perl/TCL or Python are mandatory, and effective communication skills are essential for this role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analysis and Optimization: Develop and maintain accurate timing models for AMS macros in multiple formats as required.
  • Analog-Digital Interface Timing Model Extraction: Extract timing models for analog-digital interfaces.
  • Correlation and Verification: Correlate timing model data to Hspice simulations for accuracy checks.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform QA checks for consistency and correctness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in lib characterization for AMS macros.
  • Skills: Solid understanding of timing fundamentals, experience with NanoTime, Hspice/Spectre simulators, automation using Shell/Perl/TCL or Python, and effective communication skills.
