Smart Metering Solutions Provider Seeks Component Manager.

We are looking for a skilled professional to lead our component management team in the development and delivery of next-generation smart meters.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in comprehensive testing, vendor management, and lifecycle management of electronic and electromechanical components.

Job Description:

The Component Manager is responsible for ensuring the availability, quality, and compliance of all components used in smart meter hardware. This includes managing the lifecycle, cost optimization, and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with IEC, BIS, and relevant smart metering standards
  • Validate alternate components to reduce supply risk and optimize cost
  • Develop automated test setups to test various hardware devices
  • Stay updated on emerging component technologies and recommend adoption where feasible
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (master's preferred)
  • 5–10 years of experience in component engineering, hardware design, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of smart meter standards (IEC, IS, DLMS/COSEM) and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in electronic supply chain, vendor qualification, and lifecycle management
