Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing application testing processes
  • Creating automated testing and problem-solving tasks for development processes
  • Advising best practices and optimizations throughout testing and bug-fixing processes
  • Collaborating with fellow engineering leads to develop test plans and create extensive test cases for stable and bug-free delivery
  • Working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the application development lifecycle
  • Leading and mentoring a team of QA engineers, fostering collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement in testing practices

Required qualifications include:

  • 8+ years of proven experience as an SDET Lead / Automation Engineer, specializing in test automation frameworks within the JavaScript ecosystem
  • Strong hands-on skills in designing, building, and maintaining robust automation frameworks, with a deep understanding of software testing principles, debugging, and defect reporting
  • Proficient in automated testing (including Playwright with JavaScript) and experienced in writing and maintaining automated test cases as part of comprehensive test suites
  • Knowledgeable in SQL, Java, and related systems, enabling integration testing and data validation across different layers
  • Experienced in Agile frameworks, regression testing, and continuous quality improvement practices
