Job Title:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the management of cloud infrastructures, ensuring maximum uptime, efficiency, and security. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer with hands-on technical expertise and a proactive approach to infrastructure management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure (public, private, or hybrid) with a focus on scalability and performance. They will also oversee cybersecurity policies and ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

We require a strong problem-solver with excellent communication and documentation skills. The ideal candidate should have experience in IT infrastructure management, cloud & virtualization, network security, and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure (public, private, or hybrid) with a focus on scalability and performance.
  • Implement and maintain virtualization environments ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Oversee cybersecurity policies and ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs.
  • Conduct system health checks and performance monitoring to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
  • Manage data backups, disaster recovery plans, and ensure minimal downtime in case of failures.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for escalated IT infrastructure issues.
  • Perform regular security audits to detect and prevent vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain updated documentation for network diagrams, configurations, and IT infrastructure policies.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers for technology upgrades and incident response.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Proficiency in network administration (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
  • Hands-on experience with network security tools and configurations (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security).
  • Expertise in cybersecurity best practices including patch management, incident response, and risk mitigation.
  • Solid understanding of server administration (Windows Server, Linux-based systems).
  • Familiarity with IT monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds).
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Hardware, Networking, or Information Technology.

Experience: 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management, cloud & virtualization, network security, and cybersecurity.

Bonus Points: Experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet).
