Job Description:

We are seeking a Compliance Professional to join our team. As a Compliance Professional, you will be part of a team that helps create a career journey unique and meaningful to you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with regulatory bodies to understand their expectations and provide guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in industry forums and councils to leverage knowledge and provide guidance on proposals and communications to regulators.
  • Coordinate audits and exams to ensure they are well-managed and any findings are addressed satisfactorily.
  • Analyze the impact of proposed regulations on our organization based on knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Provide input to our responses in the form of proposals or position papers.
  • Guide internal stakeholders on the interpretation of regulations and guidelines issued by various regulators.
  • Support business teams in developing controls for new projects.
  • Participate in governance and risk committee meetings to inform them of compliance risks facing our organization.
  • Contribute to the assessment of quarterly and annual control compliance ratings.

Purpose of the Role:

To develop and maintain an effective compliance program consistent with local market requirements, ensuring our business activities align with our company's compliance program and local regulations in the local market.

Critical Factors to Success:

  • Develop relevant compliance training materials and assist management in promoting staff awareness of compliance requirements.
  • Review and monitor local market activities to assess adherence to compliance standards and report deficiencies to management for corrective actions.
  • Maintain a central repository of all compliance manuals, policies, and other material related to our compliance program.
