Job Overview:

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented investment analyst to join our startup scouting team. In this role, you will play a critical part in our investment decision-making process by supporting research, analysis, and relationship building across the startup ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate early-stage startups through market research, engagement with key players, and outreach initiatives.

  • Conduct financial, business model, and competitive analysis to assess startup potential and make informed investment decisions.

  • Support due diligence processes, including collaboration with founders and reviewing key business data to ensure thorough assessments.

  • Prepare detailed investment briefs, memos, and pitch decks for internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and key startup ecosystem developments to provide valuable insights.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with founders, accelerators, venture capitalists, and other key stakeholders to foster a robust network.

Requirements:

  • A master's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
  • At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in venture capital, startup operations, consulting, investment banking, or a similar analytical role.
  • A solid understanding of startup business models and early-stage financing strategies.
  • Strong analytical, research, and presentation skills to effectively communicate findings.
  • The ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
