Backend Developer Role

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to take on a Backend Developer position, responsible for designing and implementing robust backend applications and APIs.

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend systems and services.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code in compliance with industry standards.
  • Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring seamless integration with frontend services and third-party platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop efficient data storage and retrieval solutions using databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Develop real-time features utilizing technologies like WebSockets, SignalR, or Django Channels, and ensure optimal application performance and scalability.
  • Maintain application security, authentication, and authorization controls, adhering to industry best practices.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in at least one core backend framework (Django, Spring Boot, ASP.NET Core, or Laravel).
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and software architecture principles.
  • Experience with database management systems, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Familiarity with real-time communication technologies such as WebSockets, SignalR, gRPC, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Good to Have (Bonus Advantages):

  • Experience with event-driven architectures & message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Knowledge of system scaling, load balancing, caching strategies.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices, such as infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins), containerization & Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm), monitoring & Logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack), serverless computing & cloud-native design.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.
