Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop firmware solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Lead requirements meetings and drive firmware design projects from concept to delivery.
  • Deliver high-quality C/C++ code in real-time embedded environments.
  • Design software architectures and implement firmware on hardware through integration, test, and manufacturing.
  • Responsible for all aspects of firmware design and development for new innovative products and features using embedded microcontrollers.
  • Work with global firmware teams to implement embedded control algorithms and deploy products globally.
  • Participate in sustaining activities for existing products, including diagnosis and resolution of defects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and analyzing embedded firmware.
  • Ability to develop and write control/software specifications.
  • In-depth knowledge and extensive experience with embedded firmware development.
  • Expertise in programming languages C and C++.
  • Experience with software design patterns, Microcontroller architecture, and RTOS like FreeRTOS platform.
  • Familiarity with communications protocols such as CAN, MODBUS, I2C, SPI, and UART protocols.
  • Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and ability to work with device-level hardware and software.
  • Experience with source control management, unit testing, debugging, bug fixing, verification testing, and reliability testing.
  • Excellent documentation skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
