We are seeking an experienced API Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our software development department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for RESTful APIs and microservices.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test scripts using RestAssured and Java
  • Validate API functionality, performance, and reliability through end-to-end automated testing
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand API requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Implement backend testing strategies to validate data processing, database interactions, and server-side logic
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues by analyzing logs and API responses
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for frontend applications using Selenium or other relevant tools
  • Ensure UI components function correctly by integrating backend and frontend testing
  • Build and enhance automation frameworks to support continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Utilize tools like TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, or similar for automation execution and reporting
  • Document test strategies, plans, and execution results in a clear and organized manner
  • Report defects, track resolutions, and ensure all issues are resolved before deployment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in API automation testing
  • Proficiency in RestAssured, Java, and Selenium
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like TestNG, Maven, and Jenkins
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
