Airbus Technical Author Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technical author to join our team.

  • Primary responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and revising technical documentation for Airbus aircraft programs. This includes the creation of SRM IDs (IPC) for various Airbus models, as well as ensuring adherence to Airbus standards and processes.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Airbus tools such as SAP PCS module, SRM 3D Ident, Zamiz, Airbus Supply, Airnav, APS, PASS SSI, and VPM. They should also be well-versed in impact analysis and able to create content that meets change requests.

In addition to their technical skills, the successful candidate will be responsible for guiding junior authors and illustrators, training new team members, and performing root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation/modification/revision of SRM IDs (IPC) for Airbus aircraft programs
  • Ensuring adherence to Airbus standards and processes
  • Guiding junior authors and illustrators
  • Training new team members
  • Performing root cause analysis

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical documentation creation
  • Hands-on experience with Airbus tools
  • Strong understanding of impact analysis and change management
