Main Responsibilities
  1. Technology Leadership & Strategy: Define and drive the technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
  2. Enterprise Architecture Planning: Develop scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise architectures for modern applications.
  3. Engineering Practice & CoE Development: Establish and lead a Center of Excellence (CoE) for engineering best practices, cloud adoption, and DevOps transformation.
  4. Cloud & Modernization: Lead cloud migration, legacy system transformation, and modernization efforts with cloud-native solutions.
  5. Microservices & Event-Driven Architecture: Architect and implement microservices-based solutions using event-driven patterns.
  6. API & Integration: Lead API strategy and implementation using two or more platforms such as MuleSoft, Apigee, WSO2, AWS API Gateway, or Kong.
  7. DevOps & Cloud-Native Practices: Champion Kubernetes, Docker, serverless computing, and container orchestration.
  8. Data & Storage Strategy: Work with SQL DBs (MS SQL, Oracle, Postgres) and NoSQL DBs (MongoDB, DynamoDB) alongside caching engines for optimal performance.
  9. Application Performance Management (APM): Implement and oversee monitoring strategies for high availability and performance on AWS and other cloud platforms.
  10. RFP & Solutioning: Engage in RFP responses, pre-sales activities, and solution presentations for enterprise clients.
Key Skills & Expertise
  • Strong expertise in AWS or Azure Cloud platforms.
  • Deep understanding of Microservices, Cloud-Native & Event-Driven Architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with API platforms like MuleSoft, Apigee, AWS API Gateway, WSO2, or Kong.
  • Strong background in DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless computing.
  • Experience in Legacy transformation & cloud migration strategies.
  • Proficiency in Spring Boot, Java, containers, and cloud-based application development.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL (MS SQL, Oracle, Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
  • Knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) on AWS.
  • Exposure to PaaS and SaaS solutions.
  • Good to have experience with Mobile-First Architected applications (Native and Hybrid).
  • Strong experience in handling RFPs, solutioning, and stakeholder communication.
