Responsibilities:

  • Process daily financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, and expense tracking.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Monitor cash flow and assist in budget preparation.
  • Provide financial support to the ecommerce team, ensuring that financial records align with ecommerce activities.
  • Implement and manage accounting processes that cater to the unique requirements of an online retail environment.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in our accounting systems.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and support strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within an ecommerce or retail environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and related financial management tools.
  • Analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic work setting.
