Job Title: MongoDB Database Administrator

About this role

We are seeking an experienced database administrator to design, implement and maintain mission-critical databases. This role is ideal for a MongoDB expert with a proven track record in performance optimization and database administration.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for MongoDB administration and database best practices.
  • Install, configure and maintain database management systems.
  • Monitor database performance and implement optimizations.
  • Develop and maintain backup, recovery and disaster recovery processes.
  • Ensure security protocols, data protection and compliance measures are in place.
  • Collaborate across teams to provide solutions and support critical business applications.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on MongoDB administration experience.
  • Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices.
  • Expertise in backup, recovery and replication strategies.
  • Familiarity with query optimization and database performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of database security protocols and data protection measures.
