About the Role

F337 Deutsche India Private Limited, Pune Branch is seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer, AVP to join our team. As a key member of our US Finance Regulatory Reporting platform development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting a strategic US Finance Regulatory Reporting platform for the Bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience in Software Design & Development, and in supporting, troubleshooting, and resolving both user and system related issues with financial system reporting environments.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and requirements.
  • Quantitative, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Action oriented; drive continuous improvement in an agile environment.
  • Organized self-starter with the ability to work independently and think creatively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail which includes follow up and/or escalation of issues when necessary.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in developing object-oriented software applications.
  • Experience in Financial Services environments and US Regulatory reporting.
  • Work in a cross functional agile feature team to design, develop, test, and maintain solutions – including contributing to automated CI/CD pipelines for applications begin developed.
  • Ensure that solutions are in line with department and domain architecture strategies and contribute to defining and improving those strategies.
  • Work with team members to adopt Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) and Test Drive Development (TDD) practices - automate testing framework that includes unit testing and integration tests across multiple applications and components.

Requirements

  • IT Exp of 10+ in Java development
  • Working knowledge of Unix shells scripting.
  • Excellent in SQL and PL/SQL development
  • Experience with ETL development
  • Experience with Google Could services (Big Query, Cloud Composer, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, GKE)
  • Proficiency in performance tuning of SQL queries - RDBMS (Oracle 12C, 18g or 19c)
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks e.g., React, Angular, HTML5, Bootstrap, Node.js. and of the REST principles and associated technologies
  • Deep knowledge of Java, the JVM, object orientation and SOLID principles.
  • Understanding of design Patter and its usage.
  • Practical experience with Build Tools (preferably Maven), Source Code Control (preferably Git), Continuous Integration (Hudson, Jenkins or TeamCity) and Cloud/ Docker based application deployment. Kafka, Spark, Elastic and Kibana working expertise.
  • Professional GWT/GXT, Angular/React experience. TDD experience. Data modelling experience. Digitization experience: OCR, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence & Robotics
