The Strategic Electronics Business Unit designs, develops and manufactures customized, complex products for Defence and Space customers. We are a leading industry partner for India's DRDO labs, Defence PSUs as well as the Indian Space Research Organization having delivered mission-critical electronics on major missile, radar, electronic warfare & satellite applications.
Your Role:
You will be responsible for managing and growing the Power Electronics Design team which is responsible for developing and manufacturing Power Electronics for Strategic Electronics Applications. You will manage a team of design engineers and work with operations team to develop and industrialize Power Electronics for strategic electronics applications contributing to revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
To lead the team responsible for designing power voltage >2KWDesigning AC-DC & DC-DC SMPS, Flyback, Forward, Full Bridge, Half Bridge, and Push-Pull Converter for low, medium, and high VoltageResponsible Customer requirement analysis and Electronics / Power electronics circuits feasibility studyTo meet the deadline and targets of the projectsSelection of Topology, MOSFET, Capacitors, PWM IC, Driver circuitPerforming analysis such as Derating, FMECA (Failure mode, effects and criticality analysis), Reliability, Theta-JC, DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis)Preparation of Circuit Schematics using ORCAD captureRequirements:
Possess a minimum of 10+ years of experience in the design, development, integration and testing of Power electronics Design.
Educational Background:
- BE/B Tech /MTech. in Power Electronics
- Any other additional qualification associated with Power Electronics Design
