Job Title

Director CSIT/Cyber Security

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will lead our department in implementing strategic plans, fostering innovation and advancing teaching, learning, and research in emerging areas of Computer Science and IT.
  • This senior position oversees curriculum design, course development, accreditation processes and promotes high-quality research securing funding through grants and industry collaboration.
  • Responsibilities include managing budgets, resource allocation, policy implementation, faculty and staff recruitment, evaluation, and mentorship.
  • This role requires building partnerships with industry, government agencies, academic institutions, representing the department at national and international forums and conferences.
  • Our ideal candidate will oversee the implementation and management of IT infrastructure used in teaching and research ensuring cybersecurity, data governance, and tech-enabled learning environments.
