Timing Closure Expert

We are seeking an experienced Timing Closure expert to join our team and take ownership of full chip and block level timing closure throughout the entire project cycle. As a key member of our digital design team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining methodology and flows related to timing verification and closure.


About the Role
  • You will have full ownership of timing closure from RTL synthesis to physical implementation, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality designs.
  • Develop and maintain methodologies and flows related to timing verification and closure, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive rapid closure.
  • Analyze timing reports, utilizing scripting techniques to develop insights and drive rapid resolution.
  • Support digital chip integration work and flows, working closely with designers and engineers to ensure seamless integration.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field.
  • At least 6+ years of hands-on experience in ASIC timing constraints generation and timing closure.
  • Expertise in STA tools (Tempus and Primetime) and methodologies for timing closure with a good understanding of OCV, noise, and crosstalk effects on timing.
  • Familiarity with all aspects of timing closure of high-performance mixed-signal SoCs in advanced finFET technology nodes.
  • Knowledge of timing corners/modes and process variations.
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to interface with multiple stakeholders across different disciplines.
