System Programmer Job Description

As a System Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the technical infrastructure of our organization. This includes designing, implementing, and testing software applications on the IBM iSeries platform using RPGLE programming language.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the IBM iSeries system, including its hardware and software components. They should also be familiar with Integrated Language Environment (ILE) and have expertise in creating and debugging RPG/CL programs.

Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS). Experience with web services, XML, HTML, and JavaScript is an added advantage.

This role involves working closely with development teams to ensure successful project delivery. The candidate should have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to mentor junior developers.
