Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data or Business Analyst to manage our master data set, develop reports, and troubleshoot data issues.

  • Manage the creation, updates, and deletion of master data.
  • Oversee user management and roles.
  • Ensure quality assurance of imported data, collaborating with quality assurance analysts as needed.
  • Commission and decommission data sets according to best practices.
  • Process confidential data and information in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Contribute to report development and analysis.
  • Design and manage the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Support the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
  • Promote data integrity and normalization initiatives.
  • Evaluate tests and implement new or upgraded software, assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.
  • Generate reports from single or multiple systems.
  • Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports.
  • Analyze changes and updates to source production systems.
  • Train end-users on new reports and dashboards.
  • Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science from an accredited institution.
  • Work experience as a Data or Business Analyst or in a related field.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
  • Capacity to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
  • Capability to translate business requirements into non-technical language.
  • High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling large data sets and relational databases.
  • Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
