We are seeking a seasoned technical professional to join our team at Novitates as a Principal Technical Architect. This role involves designing and developing enterprise-level Pega applications.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of software development, proven experience in architecture design, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing technical knowledge of integration strategies, including web services.
  • Designing Case management and Decisioning rules, declarative rules, Flows, Activities and Agents, file listeners, Email Listeners.
  • Experience with new Pega features like Job Scheduler, Kafka, Queue Processor, New Admin Studio, App Studio.
  • Maintaining high-quality standards while delivering the assigned items within given timelines.
  • Expert understanding of Pega PRPC 5.x/6.x/7.x/8.x.
  • Familiarity with Java, JSP, J2EE, XML, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and EJB.
  • Awareness of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with various rules and features like Class Design, User Interface, Flow Actions, SLAs, Correspondence, SingleSignOn, External Authentication, PRPC Security, Reports, Authorization etc.
  • Proficient in Estimation, Performance Tuning, and Deployment processes together with analyzing performance impact on the application.
  • Create low-level design documents for enterprise class structure, data model, and data classes based on the signed-off system requirements.
  • Responsible for designing and developing overall solutions, including re-usable classes and frameworks, component design, UI design providing scalable and resilient solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, developers, and quality assurance teams, to gather requirements and translate them into architectural blueprints.
  • Perform code reviews, architecture reviews, and system performance analysis to identify areas for optimization and ensure code quality and adherence to standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Must Have:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification

In-depth understanding of database design principles and experience working with relational and SQL/Oracle/DB2 databases.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have:

Pega UI Specialist Certification, Decisioning Certification etc.

Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
