Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough functional, regression, gameplay, and content testing to guarantee exceptional quality.
  • Efficiently report bugs with accurate STRs and track them from discovery to resolution, collaborating closely with the development team to address critical issues.
  • Participate actively in daily stand-up meetings and bug triages to update the team on your progress.
  • Create and execute test cases based on project or feature scope, utilizing your analytical skills to identify areas for improvement.
  • Cultivate adaptability and effectively communicate with the development and QA teams throughout the testing phase to ensure a thorough understanding of game/feature readiness.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in software testing (preferably gaming) with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong testing abilities coupled with a deep understanding of testing methodologies, best practices, and procedures.
  • An overall grasp of the software lifecycle and its application to quality management.
  • Prior experience in testing mobile or web games/applications is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with API testing using Postman and SQL query writing is desired.
  • The ability to develop test cases based on requirements and proficiency with bug reporting tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Experience with proxy tools like Charles or Fiddler is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in working with Android and iOS mobile apps is essential.
  • Baseline knowledge of automation testing and scripting frameworks is preferred.
  • A background in Agile development methodologies is advantageous.
