Job Overview

As a construction project manager, you will oversee the daily activities at our building sites, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards.

  • Manage on-site operations to guarantee compliance with safety and quality regulations.
  • Communicate project progress effectively to stakeholders and team members.

To achieve this, you will work closely with civil and structural engineers to ensure that projects are completed efficiently. Key qualifications include:

  • Experience in managing on-site construction activities for civil and structural engineering projects.
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate coordination between team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong background in quality control processes and safety compliance in construction projects.
  • Proficiency in using AI-based project planning and scheduling tools is an advantage.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing site plans and specifications.
  • Inspecting construction sites to verify compliance with design, project specifications, and safety codes.
  • Directing or performing surveys and measurements.
  • Estimating costs and preparing budgets.
  • Planning and coordinating construction activities for timely completion of projects.
  • Collaborating with architects, consultants, and contractors on project estimations and designs.
  • Performing geotechnical analysis and conducting soil tests for structural foundations.
  • Reporting on work progress and budget matters to seniors.
  • Ensuring materials and workmanship meet project Quality Standards and Design requirements.
  • Addressing problems that may arise during construction.
  • Verifying that the project complies with all building and safety codes.

This role demands strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate should hold a degree/diploma in civil engineering and have 2-3 years of relevant experience.
