Job Overview

The Senior Network Specialist is a critical role within the network operations center (NOC), responsible for ensuring reliable service operation of IT network services.

This position involves analyzing production network issues, resolving problems, and working in a 24x7 support model to provide required shift handovers.

  • Analyzing production network issues and resolve
  • Follow troubleshooting mechanisms and suggest corrective action
  • Work in 24x7 support model and provide required shift handover 
  • Own incident ticket resolution end-to-end and find a way to resolve or provide technical workarounds 
  • Coordinates with junior NOC engineers to analyze the issue, capture new logs if required
  • Coordinates solution provisioning and deployment by WAN connectivity service providers
  • Escalate to very complex network issue to L4 engineer for support
Key Skills and Qualifications

You will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in complex network services
  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, VRRP, DNS, ARP, STP, and related technologies
  • Proficient in routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and MPLS
  • Hands-on experience with Nokia hardware/software and CLI
  • Experience in enterprise WAN architecture and security with Firewalls
  • Strong understanding of enterprise wired and wireless networks

  • Experience in requirement gathering processes
  • Understanding of ITIL processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a global, multicultural team
