Job Title: Senior Python Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Architect to lead the design and architecture of large-scale Python applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and a proven track record of delivering scalable, high-performance, and maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design and architecture of large-scale Python applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  2. Provide guidance to development teams on Python best practices, design patterns, and code quality.
  3. Conduct regular code reviews and architecture reviews.
  4. Research and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance development processes and product capabilities.
  5. Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, ensuring optimal use of cloud services and resources.
  6. Advocate for and implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to enhance development efficiency.
  7. Work closely with QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
  8. Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure application performance and reliability, proactively addressing issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Extensive experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  3. Proven experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
  4. Strong experience with cloud platforms AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  5. Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) and data modeling techniques.
  6. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform).
  7. Experience with automated testing frameworks and practices.
