The key role of this position is to oversee daily engineering tasks, ensuring timely completion of orders and projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily design and engineering activities to meet deadlines.
  • Creation of 3D modeling and engineering drawings for machine components and layouts.
  • Design of machines/products and components such as casting, machined, fabrication, turn-ground parts etc.
  • Selecting bought-out parts like LM, Ball Screw, Bearings, Rotary and linear actuators etc.
  • Maintenance of machine safety standards like BIS, CE, ANSI.
  • Understanding of DFMA, DFMEA and GD&T principles.
  • Ensuring design output meets input requirements and adheres to adopted design standards.
  • Engineering changes in drawings, E-Bom & M-Bom and other documents (Windchill PLM).
  • Providing technical support and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product Management, Purchase, Assembly, Quality, Service, Global Engineering Teams etc.).
  • Creating Bills of Materials (BOM) of machines in ERP system and maintaining design BOM configuration logics.
  • Creation of operating instruction manuals and spare parts for machines.
  • Compliance with integrated management systems.
  • Part and assembly FEA simulation using Creo.
  • Analyzing problems and finding creative solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 8-10 years of experience in Machine Design.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Creo, and PTC Windchill.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable with ability to work with minimal supervision.
