SAP BTP Technical Specialist Job Description

As a seasoned SAP BTP Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering complex project implementations independently. This role requires past or existing project delivery experience and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • You will design, configure, develop, and customize SAP BTP solutions to achieve top-quality results, focusing on system reliability, performance, and security.
  • Work closely with SAP technical consultants to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance SAP functionality, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Monitor and identify business risks, inefficiencies, issues, and opportunities related to technical aspects of implementation.
  • Manage complex developments personally or guide developers to achieve delivery.
  • Train and transfer knowledge to other team members.
  • Recognize impacts of changes and perform due diligence before making changes, thoroughly testing solutions to avoid reworks.
  • Responsible for technical design solutions prior to project implementation or change requests.
  • Ensure technical implementation quality and minimize rework after deployment.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of SAP BTP working experience, with at least 3-4 years in consulting environments.
  • Highly preferred technical developer with hands-on experience in BPA, CAPM, Fiori, and UI5.
  • Advantageous to have Cloud Application Program Model (CAPM) experience.
  • Strong experience in HANA and/or S4HANA developments.
  • Familiarity with SAP development tools and technologies.
  • At least 3-4 years of working experience in a technical team for project delivery.
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in consulting environments as a Technical Developer.
  • Experience in SAP project implementation in S4 HANA.
  • Provide guidance and advice to the team regarding best practices, industry trends, and feedback on process and tool performance.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and tools and promote their value within the development teams.
  • Consulting environment experience is preferred.
