We are seeking a talented Pgt Chemistry Educator to join our team and inspire the next generation of scientists.

Job Summary:

A qualified educator is required to teach higher secondary classes typically Grades 11 and 12, following the prescribed curriculum. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and structured lessons, developing lesson plans, and assessing student performance.

  • Taught Chemistry lessons to higher secondary classes (Grades 11 and 12) following the prescribed curriculum (CBSE, ICSE, State Board).
  • Developed and implemented lesson plans, instructional materials, and lab activities aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Utilized various teaching methodologies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Designed and administered tests, quizzes, and practical assessments to evaluate student performance.
  • Maintained academic records and provided constructive feedback to students and parents on academic progress.
  • Conducted and supervised laboratory experiments safely and efficiently, maintaining lab equipment and ensuring availability of chemicals.
  • Offered academic guidance and counseling to students, identifying and supporting those with learning difficulties or special needs.
  • Motivated students to participate in science competitions, projects, and exhibitions.
  • Stayed updated with the latest developments in Chemistry and educational techniques, attending training programs, workshops, and staff meetings as required.
  • Participated in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and departmental reviews, maintaining classroom discipline and ensuring a safe learning environment.

Requirements:

This is a full-time position requiring a Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field, with at least 4 years of experience in teaching. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
