Job Title: English Teacher

About the School:

The International Baccalaureate (IB) school is seeking a dedicated and passionate English teacher to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.

Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development:
    • Design and implement engaging English curriculum in alignment with IB standards.
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery:
    • Develop and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assessment and Evaluation:
    • Create and administer formative and summative assessments.
  • Classroom Management:
    • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Professional Development:
    • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Communication:
    • Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Teaching certification/licensure for the relevant grade level.
  • Experience teaching in the IB Middle Years & DP Programme preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of MYP&DP philosophy, framework, and assessment criteria.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
