Natural Product Developer

- Develop, formulate and optimize natural personal care products such as skincare, haircare, and body care items with the intent that the products have a more food like feel and texture.
- Research and implement innovative, eco-friendly ingredients and technologies.
- Conduct stability testing, compatibility testing, and performance evaluations to ensure product efficacy and safety.
- Support product claims substantiation and regulatory documentation as needed.
- Oversee pilot plant trials, troubleshooting any formulation challenges and optimizing processes for manufacturing efficiency (mid-scale to large-scale production).
- Master's degree in chemistry/biochemistry/pharmaceutical science/cosmetic/Ayurveda.
- Ideally worked in personal care research and development of a company and has formulated own products
- Experience in formulating natural or Ayurvedic products. Preferable if formulated 100% natural products and has good understanding of natural preservatives, stabilisers, emulsifiers, surfactants, etc.
- 2+ years of industry experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment.
