iFOREST is looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to lead the organisation's research and policy engagement in the Just Transition Programme.
As a Programme Lead - Just Transition, you will be responsible for leading the research initiatives of the program, assigning research tasks, monitoring their execution, providing guidance and timely interventions, and quality-assuring output at various stages/milestones of research.
You will also lead in developing the engagement plan for the overall programme and projects, building strong relationships with stakeholders, representing iFOREST as a senior leader in high-level meetings and events, and fostering constructive policy-research partnerships with government, industry, and other stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate proven aptitude, substantial experience, and a track record of leading a multi-disciplinary team of 10+ professionals engaged in research and government collaboration on Just Transition initiatives.
Key qualifications include a Master's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, management, economics, or public policy, from a recognized institution, and minimum 10 years of extensive experience in research, strategy consulting, or advisory roles focused on energy transition, climate change, and environmental issues.
You should possess strong research aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to undertake and guide impactful research and technical analysis.
