The role of a Senior Analytics Engineer is pivotal in driving business decisions through data-driven solutions. At Delta, we're seeking an expert who can gather and transform large datasets into integrated data assets that support analytical models and visualizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Infrastructure: Develop robust and extensible data models using SQL, AWS Glue, or other emerging technologies to capture business performance from a customer experience lens.
  • Data Quality: Identify and execute data quality testing along critical check points, surface data drift or anomalies, and maintain a high standard for accuracy of data.
  • Visualizations: Lean into developing visualizations in Tableau and occasionally support data science teams with exploratory data analysis and KPI development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or engineering.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in data-driven solutions.
  • Expertise in writing advanced SQL queries, Python (NumPy & Pandas), and EDA tools like AWS Glue, S3, or Redshift.
  • Proficiency in Tableau or Power BI for advanced visualization.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of statistical/machine learning tools.
  • Prior experience with airlines or hospitality data.
