About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced finance professional to join our team in handling day-to-day finance and accounts operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handle journal entries, ledger postings, reconciliations (bank, vendor, intercompany), and fixed assets accounting with precision.
  • Support monthly and annual closing processes by preparing schedules, reports, and accurate financial data for decision-making.
  • Assist in statutory and internal audits by providing required documentation and resolving audit queries with attention to detail.
  • Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable tax requirements with minimal risk exposure.
  • Prepare MIS reports and assist in variance analysis as directed by management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for smooth financial operations.
  • Actively support process improvement initiatives and team goals under guidance.

Requirements:

  • Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and journal entries with application skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Income Tax, TDS, and GST regulations with analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) for data analysis and visualization.
  • Good analytical and numerical skills with attention to accuracy and precision.
  • Ability to work independently on routine tasks and escalate issues appropriately with effective communication.
  • Strong team collaboration and communication skills with adaptability.
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines with minimal stress.
  • Ethical conduct and data confidentiality with integrity.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CA Inter / Postgraduate in Commerce (M. Com) from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
  • Technical know-how in MS Office Suite, VB, Power tools with experience in SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with accounting & reporting tools with proficiency in data analysis and visualization.
