Job Title: Data Model Architect

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Model Architect to join our team. As a key member of our data modeling group, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data models that support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models for various platforms, including cloud-based data warehouses and big data ecosystems.
  • Analyze project data needs and identify opportunities for data model reuse, driving collaborative reviews of design and implementation.
  • Develop reusable data models based on cloud-centric approaches to data management and cleansing.
  • Partner with data governance teams to standardize classification of unstructured data into standard structures for data discovery and action by business customers and stakeholders.
  • Support data lineage and mapping of source system data to canonical data stores for research, analysis, and productization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in data modeling, data architecture, and data governance.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, data design, and D&A standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing technologies and big data ecosystems.
  • Ability to analyze complex data requirements and develop effective solutions.
