We are seeking a skilled CIM Automation Developer to join our team and collaborate closely with fab organization, operation users, and partners to implement and develop robust CIM solutions through quality coding and testing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting CIM solutions using vendor products such as Transport System, Recipe Management System, Remote Control System, Live Equipment Monitoring System, Fault Detection Classification, and more.
Apart from the above tasks, you will also be responsible for hook-up semiconductor equipment with customized protocol (SECS GEM) through communication host.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing CIM solutions using vendor products
- Collaborating with fab organization, operation users, and partners to implement and develop CIM solutions
- Developing and maintaining high-quality code for CIM solutions
- Hooking up semiconductor equipment with customized protocol (SECS GEM)
- Monitoring equipment tool performance and ensuring availability of data transfer and compliance to operational requirements
- Conducting regular maintenance and update of automation programs to ensure reliability
- Implementing adhoc requests to alleviate operational pain points
- Performing troubleshooting of CIM issues and resolving them in a timely manner, focusing on both hardware and software causes
Requirements:
- Strong programming skills in C, C#, C++, Java, SQL with minimum 2 to 10 years of development work
- Keen interest to work in clean room environment, Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) projects and conduct quality checks
- Willingness to learn SEMI standards and Semiconductor manufacturing processes
- Strong sense of urgency in CIM operation support and execution
- Practical problem-solving abilities during production-critical situations, while remaining composed under pressure, especially during system failures or production issues
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging CIM systems
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues effectively; communicate technical issues and implement solutions effectively across functional teams
- Adopt a proactive approach to identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions
- Excellent teamwork skills to work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and IT teams
- Enthusiasm to learn new technologies, tools, and systems related to semiconductor domain and CIM implementation
- Adapt to dynamic manufacturing environments and evolving needs
- Strong time-management ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
Qualifications:
- Minimum BE
- 2 to 10 years' of relevant experience
- Semiconductor manufacturing Industry preferred
- Strong verbal or written communication skills
