Backend Developer Job

Capco, a global technology and management consulting firm, is seeking a Backend Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Java, Spring, and databases.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software, SDKs, and web applications that comply with coding standards and technical design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on software development focused on Java, Spring, and databases.
  • Implement and manage RESTful APIs for front-end and application integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Integrate AI tools and frameworks into backend services.
  • Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Analyze and debug simple issues and identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply improvements.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in java back-end development.
  • Proven hands-on software development experience with Java and Spring.
  • Strong proficiency in Core Java and Java EE.
  • Extensive experience with Spring Framework like Spring Boot.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful services and API design.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and machine learning.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of concurrency and multithreading in Java.
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).
