Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Systems Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will possess 4-6 years of experience in understanding client business processes and mapping them to financial management systems.

They will collaborate with technical architects to suggest solutions for existing gaps, support users by resolving issues, manage feature backlogs, and ensure timely resolution within agreed service level agreements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Participate or lead detailed requirement studies
  • Prepare process documents (As-Is) and obtain sign-off from clients
  • Map requirements to application processes
  • Prepare documents (Mapping of As-Is process to To-Be Process) and obtain sign-off from clients
  • Set up Conference Room Pilot (CRP) environments
  • Conduct testing, unit testing, and integration testing. Prepare test scripts
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manuals
  • Test customizations (Forms, Interfaces, and Reports)
  • Assist users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve UAT issues
  • Set up production instances
  • Assist developers for data migration
  • Provide post-live support

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters or Bachelors degree in finance
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle R12 and implementation of GL/AP/AR and FA, India GST, and EBTAX is desirable
  • Minimum two End-to-End implementations in R12
  • Strong accounting knowledge
  • Good experience in migrations
