Converged Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary:

Responsible for delivering high-quality support and services related to converged infrastructure, including provisioning, deployment, and resource expansion. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience with SAN infrastructure, converged platforms, and storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maximize uptime and performance characteristics for SAN infrastructure and converged platforms.
  2. Handle escalated issues from L2 teams and clients, ensuring prompt resolution within SLAs.
  3. Analyze monitoring results and recommend changes to improve performance, security, and utilization.
  4. Plan and recommend infrastructure modifications or equipment upgrades to increase system capacities.
  5. Troubleshoot to maintain high levels of system uptime and performance.
  6. Coordinate with OEMs for hardware replacement, advanced troubleshooting, and code upgrades.
  7. Perform day-to-day operations, BMC ticket closure, and coordinate with multiple teams to resolve issues.
  8. Plan required changes and raise RFCs accordingly.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in VMWare administration.
  • Strong knowledge of converged infrastructure, SAN infrastructure, and storage solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
