Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

 


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the quality of mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test cases, aligning with business objectives.
  • Utilize meticulous attention to detail to detect and report defects, providing clear reproduction steps for swift resolution.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of defects in Jira and Google Spreadsheets.
  • Perform diverse testing types, including functionality, compatibility, exploratory, usability, and regression testing.
  • Adhere to established testing schedules and deadlines while promoting a culture of efficiency and teamwork.
  • Cultivate knowledge of internal systems, processes, and tools to drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute constructive feedback to improve testing processes and collaborate with QA Lead on strategic initiatives.
  • Provide regular status updates to the QA Lead to ensure seamless communication.

Background and Experience
  • 23 years of experience in mobile game testing on Android and iOS platforms.
  • Effective team player with experience working collaboratively towards shared goals and objectives.
  • Proficient in writing and executing test cases based on documented requirements and feedback from stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, with a keen eye for spotting inconsistencies and issues.
  • Proven ability to identify patterns, explore various user paths, and define complex bugs.
  • Strong passion for playing games and a genuine interest in the gaming industry.

 


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Mobile application testing expertise on Android and iOS platforms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, with a focus on meeting documented requirements and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and report defects in a timely manner.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed documentation of defects and testing activities.
