About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Director, Digital Mobile Engineering to lead our Digital Mobile Engineering team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving Digital Technology delivery for strategic, technology-driven advancements and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Digital Technology delivery for strategic, technology-driven advancements and initiatives.
  • Plan and execute deliveries, financial management, roster management, hiring and onboarding, and change management.
  • Enable the various Digital teams with the primary goal of converging all Digital team practices across the entire product set.
  • Deliver and own the foundation for all Digital applications inclusive of global code packages, design systems, DevSecOps pipeline, QA frameworks, SDKs and any mobile capabilities needed horizontally across the Digital organization.
  • Define mobile best practices and standards for building web and mobile experiences and the associated processes for leveraging them.
  • Define and implement practices and approaches with a goal of high-quality automated releases.
  • Define and implement release processes and automated path to production leveraging best-in-class DevSecOps solutions.
  • Define and implement best-in-class observability suite to ensure production stability, performance, and quality.

Requirements:

  • Deep technology skills in the following areas: Agile Methodologies, DevOps Practices, Cloud Computing (AWS/Azure/GCP), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Microservices Architecture, Docker/Kubernetes, React/Angular/Vue, Node.js/Python/Java.
  • Must possess a client-centric mindset and a willingness and ability to drive change.
  • Must demonstrate multiple years of experience within the Financial Services domain, as an individual contributor and leader.
  • Possesses a broad and/or deep understanding of the operational cadence of our clients.
  • Displays strong leadership qualities, decision making abilities and strong business judgment, and is comfortable making tough decisions.
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills and a confidence to negotiate and present in high pressure environments.
  • A positive & resilient nature is vital as is an immense work ethic that shows leadership by example.
