Visual Creative Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Visual Creative Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.

About the Role

The Visual Creative Specialist will be responsible for creating compelling visual content that supports our mission of promoting sustainable urban mobility and community engagement. You will work closely with our communications and program teams to design materials for campaigns, events, and reports, helping to tell the story of our work in a powerful and accessible way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visual Communication & Branding

You will develop visual concepts and designs for all print and digital media, ensuring consistency with our brand guidelines. This may include:

  • Creating infographics, presentations, and other visual assets that communicate complex ideas clearly.
Campaign & Event Collateral

You will design materials for large-scale public campaigns and events, including posters, banners, social media graphics, and event signage. This may include working with our team to create engaging visuals for public awareness campaigns aimed at diverse audiences, including children, youth, and vulnerable road users.

Content & Storytelling

You will transform research data and reports into visually engaging and easy-to-understand infographics and charts. You will also support the creation of visual narratives for success stories, case studies, and public-facing reports.

Digital & Social Media

You will create dynamic content for social media platforms (static images, short animations, GIFs) to drive engagement and amplify key messages. You will also assist in maintaining and updating our website with new visual content.

Photography & Videography

You will help capture and edit photos and videos from events and projects to build a rich visual library. You will also work with external photographers and videographers as needed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a graphic designer, preferably with a focus on social impact or urban development.
  • Proven experience in creating successful visual campaigns for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva and other relevant tools.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in Hindi and English is a must.
