We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our kitchen team as a Commis 2. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about food preparation and wants to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Core Responsibilities:
- Stock and maintain raw materials and ingredients in the kitchen.
- Ensure compliance with hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
- Prepare food items as per standard recipe cards while maintaining portion control and minimizing waste.
- Clean and maintain all equipment within the food production area.
- Report any hazards or equipment requiring repair to the immediate supervisor.
- Participate in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
Requirements: This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional service and ensuring the highest standards of food quality.
