Senior Cloud Engineer Position

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team and lead the development of high-performance, scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure and highly available cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and others.
  • Set up and configure ECS/EKS clusters, deployments, and performance-based scaling for optimal efficiency.
  • Automate infrastructure setup using Terraform and CloudFormation to streamline processes.
  • Configure AWS IAM roles, policies, and user groups for access control and security.
  • Manage RDS databases (MySQL, Redshift, PostgreSQL, MariaDB) and intranet user access for seamless data exchange.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues and optimize network configurations for improved performance.
  • Implement DevOps and CI/CD processes using Bitbucket/GitHub and ServiceNow/Jira for enhanced collaboration.
  • Analyze costs and optimize resources using Trusted Advisor, Cost Explorer, and tagging for maximum ROI.
  • Monitor AWS environments using tools like New Relic, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana for real-time insights.
  • Document SOPs, create knowledge bases, and maintain technical documentation for knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals and deliver exceptional results.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud architecture best practices and security guidelines for robust infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AMI upgrades, patch application, and maintenance window management for optimized system uptime.
