Job Title: IT Operations Specialist

As an IT Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud-based services. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and troubleshoot application events, with a focus on providing excellent customer experience.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for impact situations, escalating issues to the wider team when necessary. Your communication skills will be essential in ensuring that regular updates are provided to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and troubleshooting application events using BMC Software Tooling and Alerting systems
  • Providing Tier 1 level support and assistance to customers and internal teams
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions

Required Skills:

  • BS/BE degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a cloud-based or IT industry
  • Emphasis on Kubernetes, Rancher, Linux, Database MSSQL and Postgres

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Troubleshooting skills with considerable depth and experience
  • Experience working at a Help Desk, Technical Call Center, NOC, or equivalent environment
  • Knowledge of BMC-Remedy Products and Directory Service/LDAP
