Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to fill the role of Senior System Administrator.

This position involves designing, maintaining, and monitoring infrastructure systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, deploy, and maintain cloud-based environments using Azure, AWS, and Hyper-V Server.
  • Administer user support tickets in alignment with ITIL principles, ensuring timely resolutions and high levels of user satisfaction.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain Active Directory services, including Domain Controllers, User/Group Management, and Group Policy Administration.
  • Administer and maintain a hybrid Active Directory environment, ensuring seamless synchronizations between On-Premises and Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and other tenant services.
  • Collaborate with the IT Security team to implement security best practices and controls, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of infrastructure systems.
  • Develop and implement regular backup and disaster recovery strategies for all infrastructure services, ensuring business continuity.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure services, including asset inventory and software/hardware design and implementation.
  • Analyze server performance, security, and compliance metrics, generating regular reports as required.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues proactively, developing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing business needs and market conditions.
  • Work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks while being a strong team player.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure practices align with application requirements and operational needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies in system administration, driving their adoption within the team as appropriate.
  • Establish and maintain open communication channels to ensure seamless collaboration with remote teams.
  • Monitor and optimize infrastructure component performance, capacity, and availability, ensuring systems meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Evaluate and recommend technology improvements and upgrades to enhance system administration efficiency and effectiveness.
