Job Overview

The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of a warehouse and team, ensuring seamless logistics and supply chain management. Key responsibilities include effectively managing warehouse operations through operational leaders and area managers, driving quality culture within the team, and supporting employee development via coaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, leveraging operational leaders and area managers to achieve optimal results.
  2. Drive a quality culture throughout the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  3. Support employee growth and development through coaching, mentoring, and training programs.
  4. Manage, motivate, hire, train, and continually develop the warehouse team to meet business objectives.
  5. Oversee security protocols for all warehouse assets and infrastructure, ensuring a safe working environment.
  6. Effectively manage returns to the warehouse, promptly resolving issues and returning items to stock or suppliers as needed.
  7. Maintain regular communication with last mile managers to update on any supply chain challenges.
  8. Collaborate with stock controllers to ensure accurate stock movements and adherence to company guidelines.
  9. Investigate stock discrepancies, including negatives, unfound, and sold out items, and report findings to relevant managers.
  10. Conduct regular stock takes and provide detailed reports on results.
