Lead SQL Developer

This is a hybrid role requiring you to be on-site 3 days a week in our Hyderabad office.

  • As a key member of our team, experience leading a team is required for this leadership position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop logical and physical data models to support application requirements.
  • Write, optimize, and tune complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic.
  • Collaborate with application developers to ensure efficient data access patterns and scalable database interactions.
  • Scale and manage the database from an application performance perspective.
  • Monitor and improve query performance, ensuring responsiveness under high load.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for data access and modeling.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of high performance and technical excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a leadership role is mandatory.
  • Strong experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
  • Familiarity with data modeling tools and performance tuning techniques.
  • Experience in environments with high concurrency and large-scale data access.
  • Exposure to business logic or financial systems is beneficial but not required.
